When the black sleeves are torn away
To reveal the scars of pain
When the eyeliner is wiped off
To reveal the dark circles of no sleep
When the smile wavers
To reveal the lips of sadness
When the costume is shed
To reveal the true girl of secrets
When the resilient cover is blown
To reveal the real girl of lies
What will there be left
But a lost soul
A confused mind
And a broken heart
