The pages turn
the passage of time--
I do not notice
It is where I find my life's meaning
here--
the pages of a good book
Beautifully crafted
and deeply enthralling
I am moved
by these words--
they change me
It is my dream
my hope
my wish--
to impact someone's life
as these books
have impacted mine
My life is ephemeral
and so is my mind
I must capture the thoughts I have
and maybe someday,
someone
somewhere
will appreciate them
