Faith
It is a cold November evening
 The streets are empty
The lights from the houses shine on the pavement
Families are in their kitchen preparing the meals
 For the night of thanks

 Outside a homeless girl wanders
 Looking in the windows
To see people happy and warm
While she is alone and hungry

 With each passing home
She feels more and more hurt
 But she does not complain
She does not say a word
 She just walks on
Even though she is forsaken by all
 She still trusts
 In her God
