The fight

When you're down
You have a choice
To get back up
Or to stay down.
When you're in the ring
Not knowing if you are going to win or not.
The bell rings
You charge in.
Going toe to toe with the enemy
Hand to hand combat.
Just another fight
But it is for the title.
If you fail
You won’t get another shot
You give it all you got.
You’re hanging in there.
Final minute of the round
You can’t give up.
You are pushing you're self to breaking point
You throw a final blow.
His body goes limp
And crumples to the canvas.
