Forever My Baby Girl
There you were sleeping
In my arms and wrapped in pink
 After three boys before you
 With you being born
 A joyful blessing for me

 Three years of age
And there's tea set for five
Ages:three, seven, nine, twelve, and thirty eight
Wearing sparkles, pink, and stuck in our chairs
Sipping apple juice from a tiny cup

 Fast forward by two years
 A backpack on your back
 There's pigtails in your hair
You cutting the circulation in my hand
 You're first day of kindergarden

 Adding ten more years
An instinct kicks in for your brothers
I still wonder if it came naturally
But you'll be glad for them being protective
As the four of us watch as you take your prom dates hand

 Now as I write this
You couldn't have become anymore beautiful
It's minutes before I walk you
Giving you away to the young man at the end of the aisle
Just realizing how fast time had past

But you're forever my baby girl
