Poem Allusion
She cried and yelled
 Slammed the door and screamed
Her mom knocked on the door
And asked if they could talk
 But her mom’s voice was
 Drowned out by hers.
 He mom knocked
 And knocked
And a tear ran down her cheek,
 Shining in the light.
 go away! she yelled
 So her mom did.
 She opened the door.
 Her mom was gone.

 The next day
Her mom was on the news.
in the lake under the bridge down the
 road from their house.

 She cried. The phone rang.
 Her mom was ok.
 She went to the hospital
 And when she walked in
 Her mom was asleep
 On the bed.
 The doctor came in,
 “It might have been otherwise”
