I lost you for a moment,
a moment I can't forget
a nightmare stuck on repeat
for my mind to relive
the girl of my dreams,
I can see you
but do my eyes deceive?
I can hardly believe
that tonight I'm not dreaming
you're here with me,
I guess for now
I'll call you my friend
We're going to cut off all the thorns,
so here's a rose,
