Breathing slow whispers.
Soft laughter.
Sharing secret kisses.
Spend out days discreetly.
Knowing the risk we're taking.
Don't speak of this to anyone.
Ignore all the curious questioning.
They're coming.
And, so we inhale a deep sigh.
Because it's obvious,
this is our feared goodbye.
