why did you cut your hair?
Let soft fingers
tousle golden locks,
let a glittering blade
sever all?
A passionate flame
can scorch reason
and burn young hands
while dark blue eyes
draw from pale lips
deep red secrets
better left buried
So you wake alone
to a fiery nightfall
Stripped of power
lost in love
you are no longer
my Man of the Sun.
