Your hi
Your hi lights up my face, instantly mutilating my lips to a broad smile
Your handshake leaves me wishing to clutch longer, almost interlocking momentarily
A good-bye tightens my mind, longing for an undeserved hug
A message shivers my heart, jumbles my brain
My blank mind attacked by your should-be-forgotten memories

At the end of the day, I laugh at:
Tuning out her to stare at you
Losing focus to watch you focus
Moving my stool a step or two closer
 Laughing at your mundane comments

And I ask whether it is worth it?
 The answer waves through me

 With mind-cooling fantasies
 Love of perfectly hidden secret
 Beauty of unrealized smiles

 It changes me
 Comforts me
 Mystifies me.
