Snowfall
One at first.
 Then two; gently they swirl down together
 quietly.
 Silently.
 They call upon the others now, this frosty
 king and queen.
 they call upon their faeries to follow them,
 and henceforth they come,
 dancing and sparkling
 in the cold, still air.
 they land separately, privately;
 but from afar you can tell not one from another.
 they mass into a single, crystal blanket
 of sky.
