Come Find Me

Here I am
Waiting for you to find me
for you to fling open
the white wooden door
and it wouldn't hurt
to throw some loving arms
around me
and pick me up
from off the floor
but as I wait
in my shroud of sadness
kept company
only
by silence's moan
I watch
the door
shut tight
so haughty
mocking me
steadily
as my loneliness
grows
