She and the Eagle
She took up the impossible, the immoral, the pain,
She had everything to lose and nothing precious to gain.
She was weak, dependant,
Her eyes brimmed with tears,
O, how she yearned for an answer to all of her fears.
When an eagle offered her its wings, she felt like singing,
For it was surreal, fantastic, a brand new beginning.
It is her love for that eagle she will always remember,
And that song that she sang will always be treasured.
