Radiant and free
Beautiful, it beckons
Drawn in, he sees
Wonder, acceptance
Greens and blues
The forest awakened
With a pulse
So strong
Great with power
But limbs crack
Break away
Leaves change
Always
Confused and terrified
Desire for flight
Alight, with a fire
Bright, with the pain
Turned away from destruction
A new forest calls
