The idea of love~ He is both a curse and a gift
He is both a curse and a gift
For I with a guard and barbed wire across my heart
 have fallen in love
And for I with skinny bones stand tall
And I with a heavy heart fall

He is both a curse and a gift
My eyes close with the thought of him
Though our eyes have never met

He is both a curse and a gift
 My pulse races faster
Though I have never heard his
My mind see’s him while he see’s me

He is both a curse and a gift
My eyes sting at the thought of never having him
 Though I never have

He is both a curse and a gift
My heart grows more heavy with each day that I go
 Without seeing him

He is both a curse and a gift
For I have never seen nor heard the man my heart desires
 But it belongs to him
My eyes have never met his
My hand has never brushed his
My laughter has never echoed with his
Though I hope someday it will

He is both a curse and a gift
That I have yet to see the wrapping
