Art is the only way to run away with out leaving home
-Twyla Tharp

running quickly into the night
stumbling
quickly glancing back up
again
breath tripping over my lip
gasping
forever gasping
for that sweet clear air
,not getting the chance
running
my feet bleeding through my socks
running
trees whurring by
running
not seeing
just,
running
looming in the past
swaying in the future
walking besides me
it lurks
i run
and then
and then i wake up
into the real
nightmare

The author's comments:
I run from my fears, and i think that this poem says that you can run but you won't ever get rest even in your dreams if you don't turn around. Though my poem only describes the fear of it, wich is unmatched, it's one thing to feel fear another to feel fear you can't escape.
