I am the shadow that follows
I am the angel that protects
I am the sinner begging
I am the believer praying
I am the light when its dark
I am the hug when you cry
I am the disciplinary when you do wrong
I am the teacher with knowledge
I am the strength to go through
I give the wisdom to know
I give the courage to do right
I give the strength to go on
I give the breath to live
I give the heart to beat
I give the soul to feel
I give the body to work
I gave you life through my son
