Home is where I want to be,
Because home is where you are,
I know you've passed and moved on from this place,
And I can't get to you by car

I see your pictures hanging on the wall,
I keep trying to reach out,
And I miss you with all my heart,
Without a doubt

Home is where you feel safe,
Because home is where you are,
I can't replace you,
No one's up to par

I remember all our runs and cuddles,
All of our great years,
And I miss you with my heart and soul,
And my eyes still well with tears

But you're gone for a while,
