The first grey minutes of morning.
The dark cool embrace of the cave.
They please me in every way.
Just perfect because they'll never change.

They give no emotion.
They only hold yours.
They don't move on in time.
Individual worlds as they are.

Being in them is content.
Being without them is upset.
Being to know none is the very stuff of sorrow.
You should get to know one.
Just wait for tomorrow.
