Our mind wages war with our heart,
Our submissive conscience advocates for the battles to cease,
Battles of which we forfeit control and are caught in limbo,
Do we follow our heart or our mind,
We know no boundaries in this capacious universe,
For, ultimately, love is our only boundary,
We attribute love to destiny in our journey of life,
Humanity is lost in the cruel universe,
We try to be plausible attempting to describe love,
For we are renowned for explaining everything,
Yet love cannot be explained,
Our minds are servile to facts,
Love has no facts, no explanation,
Our heart knows no boundaries.
