Fate is a fool’s name
for coincidence.
I was seeking an adventure
while he was searching for a forever
Destiny is a fool’s name
for chance.
I fell in love with the idea of romance
while he fell in love with all of me
Fortune is a fool’s name
for accident
I lay in bed, asleep
while he had rivers down his cheeks
Love is a fool’s name
for disaster
