Dear Hannah,
I didn’t ask to control you; your tears invited me in
You wanted someone to be with you
I happily became your friend
You were unsure of yourself, but I was sure of me
I knew you were vulnerable so I haunted your dreams, put lies in your head to help you hate yourself more
I thought it was funny when you used cutting as your cure
Hurting yourself just makes things easier on me and killing yourself won’t set you free
It’s risky to think that you’ll get away
I know everything about you, all your secrets are mine, and as long as you know me you’ll never be fine
I have the key to your heart and you can’t replace the lock
So pop those pills to make you free,
But I’ll be back, just wait and see
I promise you Hannah you won’t forget me
