Valley of Tears
In the dark of the world
 The weeping lay naked
Upon the streets of broken gold
Where the prophesies of old were made

The sky’s barren and knows no light
Now that the mournful come to lament
Their sins of the heart professed
For a world in which they gave no mercy

The fires rain down as sorrow
 The dawn’s beams are breaking
To a world where the Dark flourishes
 And dark will be tomorrow

 Seas rage, drowning the land
The guilty run but they cannot abide
Against a tidal wave of darkness
That has already swallowed them up inside

The sun shines black as the crooked hearts
 Where wickedness lay between deceit,
And greed as dark as the flames of hate
Retribution of fire and ice swallow the street

We shall walk in the valley of tears
As the transitory world is dying away
The cries of agony and the hissing of fire
 Do not shake me for
I walk in the valley of tears and I know no fear
 For He is with me
