The Reign of Tears
Can you not see my pain?
Can you not feel the rain?
The drops, my tears, fall to your skin
 Starting out lightly, soaking in
 Growing slowly, hurrying the pace
 Filling up the space
Soon you will drown in these tears
 Each filled with my fears
I will feel sad only that it wasn’t me
As I drink many cups of tea
 Drowning in my tears
The feeling of water filling my eyes still leers
One more thing to think about
 To cause a pout
 One more reason to cry
 Again I will try
