I really like it here.
I really like it here,
Though I am afraid to.
I don’t want to like it as much as I do,
It seems almost perfect for me,
This place could be my home,
It warmed its way into my heart,
So far,
But I don’t want it there.
I really like it here,
Though I am afraid to.
Because with the pleasure of finding this perfection,
Comes the pain of the what ifs that,
Will plague me.
The “Am I good enoughs.”
‘Are my scores high enoughs.”
“Can I really get in heres.”
I really like it here,
Though I am afraid to.
Because with the what ifs,
Come the possible,
And all too common,
Rejection letters.
I really like it here,
Though I am afraid to.
I wish I knew what the future holds cause,
I really like it here,
Though I am afraid to.
