He wanders aimlessly
To and fro
Waiting
Wondering
Asking
“Are you looking for me?”
He searches
Not for someone
But for anyone
On a search for him
An old friend
A lost love
A new acquaintance
“Are you looking for me?”
He is disregarded
As a fool
A nutcase
An unfortunate soul
But is he?
After all
Someone may be
On a search
For the man who says
“Are you looking for me?”
He is hopeful
For someone to come
Find him
So he can be
Found
