Walking on the tightrope
Slowly crossing the precipice
But halfway over
Something goes wrong.
I lose my balance
Tumble down,
Falling fast
Darkness ready to swallow me up
But at the last minute
You reach out
Turn on the lights
Catch me before it’s too late
Nothing else can help
No one else can save me
You are the only one
Who can banish the darkness
Who can catch me as I fall.
