Omnia vincit amor et nos cedamus amori- Love conquers all let us yield to love
Sweat Dries, Blood Clots, Bones Heal, Suck it up and dance!
If they give you ruled paper, write the other way

music soaring, gliding
up and down through
the tense night air
vibrations resonate
pounding in my chest
anxious heart beating
so fast, rapidly
gracefully sharp bow
meets string
sharp sharp
lights dimmed all around
lights twinkling above
like artificial stars
music that's swift and strong
then I see him
dark eyes lock on mine
his face contorts
with a bare hint of recognition
I shake, I shiver
metallic taste of blood
enters my dry mouth
salt stings around my eyes
it hurts to breathe
my heart is beating
no it's pounding
I scream
my skin meets his
overwhelming surge
of frightening memories
floods me
I'm trapped, almsost as if
time has simply frozen
I can't breathe, can't speak
I need to feel
to numb
screams pierce the air
my clamorous footsteps
echo as the pound
down the hard floors
I collapse, terrified
it's the monster

The title seems like it doesn't fit, but this is a poem written about the first time in around a year that I had seen someone that had really hurt me.
