You were my only hope
The last of my friends
But now you've changed 
And I feel my heart twist with pain

You were the last person I could trust
My only chance for surviving
But now you've tossed me aside
And here I lay dieing 

I've been a good friend 
I never lied to you 
Never betrayed you quite like this
And always stood up for you
 No matter what

Apparently that wasn't good enough 
So now I pick myself up
With no more tears left to cry
And to you I say goodbye
