The Violet tower
of blossoms and cream;
I spew, I spew
Palm leaves
adorn the vicarage walls
intricate
enamel
sandy beds
embossed with mother-of-pearl
and earth-fire
Hot magma dances
round tumultuous stars
I should pay attention
but do I?
no.
Sweep me away
to misty pagodas
high atop desert hills
and highlands.

The author's comments:
I was thinking about the purple ajuga that grows in my yard ("the Violet tower". This is mostly spew, but I was stuck after palm leaves and the use of vicarage is from the song "Old Deuteronomy" from the musical CATS.
