I want to write a beautiful poem
One that makes you feel silly and able to float
Using such big words and perfect rhymes
Not too cliché and flows just like time
I want to write a beautiful poem, that even adults love
On that gets you through when push comes to shove
You can hear the music in the background as your soft tears flow
I’m going to write one on ready, set, go
I just want it to be perfect like a sweet hum
I want to write a beautiful poem
