It starts with a twitch
Do you feel it?
That small, harmless twitch in your hand
Do you remember?
Where you last saw your keys; on the counter
The hands of time slowly ticking
The Ghost, the force within
Slowly grabbing hold
Slowly adapting to your body
As you struggle to raise your own hand
Frozen.
Heart pumping, pupils dilated
Can’t move, no longer under your own control
The Ghost within has taken hold
A new place for it to call home
It starts with a twitch
