I am a girl,
who is confused.
In a world too big for her taste.

I smile,
I laugh when you taunt me,
like nothing is wrong.
But behind the mask,
I am dying inside,
curling up,
with no dignity
and no faith.
Like a lost child,
crying for its mother,

I hate my life,
but am willing to live,
for the sparse light of love,
that passes by soon enough,
until I am once again eaten,
by the darkness
of loneliness.

I am screaming,
