The road has been painful
Cratered with dusty cracks and holes
The more I desire
The harder it gets
At this point all I can ask for
Is a future without regrets
Used to ask for perfection
Thought I could live without vanity
Until all the lies and deception
Drove me over the edge near insanity
The road has been wonderful
Crushing strife and connecting with souls
