Who I See
My mom says I’m perfect
My dad says I’m his princess
But when I look in the mirror
All I see is someone different
I see someone with messy brown hair
 Big blue eyes
Someone that looks like she is about to cry

 My friends say I’m funny
 The boys say I’m cute
But when I look in the mirror
All I see is someone different
I see someone with freckles across her face
 And pale skin
Looking like she is about to faint

 I don’t see someone perfect
 I don’t see a princess
All I see is plain old me
 Someone who is definitely different
 Through these big blue eyes
 I don’t see anything magical
All I see is plain old me
What more am I supposed to see?
