I told you everything
I told you everything.
I felt that you needed to know.
I felt that getting this off my chest
 would clear my conscience.

 I told you everything.
 I told you the truth.
 I opened my heart
 hoping that you would understand.

 I told you everything
 and had expectations,
but found that I had hope and faith
 in a lost cause.

 I told you everything.
I told you what was on my mind.
I told you how I really felt.
I told you what I knew.

 I thought it would help.
I thought you wanted to know.
I thought you could take it.

 I had some doubts,
but I felt things would be all right.
 But as it turns out,
things are not how I thought they would be

 I told you everything.
I felt that you needed to know.
And now that I have told you everything,
I have regretted it ever since.
