Eyes On Stage
Stage set,
lights on,
waiting waiting,
queue the piano.
Call me now,
its time to race,
show your face,
keep moving – speaking.
Time to move,
and speak lines.
Known as theirs,
were never mine.
I know my name,
my tone and pace,
flashing flashing,
costume change.
Set stage again,
new scene and clapping,
hands wipe face,
make up on,
act two act two,
moving faster
time to go.
Improvements to make,
eyes on me,
watching watching,
final scene.
Push it harder,
move move on,
bow front right
finish song.
