Now That You're Gone
Now that you’re gone, my world is crushed
Into an unbearable jigsaw puzzle, of my scattered life pieces
I try to think
Now that you’re gone, my next move is uncertain
I rely on my dreams to tell me the message
What is real and, what I should do
Now that you’re gone, I’m in a hidden daze
In reality I disguise myself with a smile
Behind it lays my tears
Now that you’re gone, my heart beat has changed
Falling asleep on my trail of tears
I’m confused and naïve
Now that you’re gone, should I get over this?
How will this end? Is it ended?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Now that you’re gone, I pray for you each night
I need to conquer this depression, this anxiety
I need to move on
Now that you’re gone, I realize that we could never be
We could never get that that opportunity
Now that you’re gone
