Tears fall like little crystals
hitting the ground when no one watching
they shatter and break
as your whole world shakes
because you know
you know you love them
but their love is not for you
but for someone else
so as you hold on and hope
and wait
and wish
for the day when they see the light
you silently
quietly
and heartbreakingly
cry crystalline tears
before you can sleep
