Forgive me if I love like a wolf.
I watch you through the snow that falls,
and through it all,
I know.
I know that I know you.
Forgive me if I follow you home like a dog.
I watch you through the quiet streets,
and through it all,
I know.
I know that you surely see me.
Don't you?
Won't you take me in?
Forgive me if I, more than ever, love like a wolf.
I watch you from afar.
I consider the approach, the execution,
and through it all,
I know.
I know that I will never take you.
Like a wolf,
A lone wolf,
I disappear into the snow.
Forgive me if I love like a wolf.
