Something It's Not
I study your reflection,
Because it would be awkward if I stared,
It would mean something it's not,
 And that wouldn't be fair,
 I play the torturous game,
 Of liking the real you,
 And even though you're taken,
 There's nothing I can do,
 You pop into my mind,
 All hours of the day,
But because you have a girlfriend,
 There's nothing left to say,
 And we can flirt,
And we can text and talk,
And my heart will still skip a beat,
 Whenever our eyes lock,
But believe me when I say,
 I will never stare,
Because it would mean something it's not,
And that just wouldn't be fair.
