I wish some had told me
Life, is not what we think

For life has no point
Evidence, I show you

Heaven is eternal bliss.
Boring, as forever is long and it lingers, you get used to it.

As far as I know the devil has no book
While the bible is considered gods’.

The bible, rips on the devil, rips on hell
This is all I see while god shows his face

You arrive in hell by being bad
Why would the devil punish you

In this, lies my point
Life has one not

You ask where we go when our time is up
I’ll tell you now that it is not the sky

For no man awaits us on a cloud above
We venture six feet into the dirt

Slowly time will take its course
Taking, degrading, our rotting souls

We all want to believe, I understand
Odds are we are all wrong about the end.
