He and I
I wonder what he sees
 when he looks in the mirror.
 Does he see the same green eyes-
 like paint watered down
 to make it thin enough-
 that I see?
 Does he see
 hair so messy and out of place
 that it's unbearable;
 or does he see
 the perfectly crafted
 golden mane
 that I see?
 When he looks at himself
 he says he sees failure.
 When I look at him,
 I see an angel.
 And when I search for his flaws
 he disappears.
