Grey,
Seas,
Waves,
Forests,
Hazel,
Gold,
Brown…
Eyes.
Fascinate me,
Appear to
me as
windows,
panes of,
often clear
but sometimes
not,
glass.
Eyes.
For looking
out of,
through,
and
deep into
those
dark
places
withheld within.
Eyes
Are frightening,
because all
the while
I’m looking
in yours,
you’re
looking
through
mine too.
