Perfectly Imperfect

I am perfectly imperfect
I wonder when my past will catch up with me
I hear the laughs I've caused
I see the tears I've cried
I would like to change who I am
I am perfectly imperfect

I pretend my world isn't slowly crashing down
I feel guilty for things I've done
I touch the hearts of many, but never the right one
I worry about the days to come
I cry myself to sleep at night
I am perfectly imperfect

I understand why I don't look like "them"
I say things that I don't mean
I dream about a fairytale ending
I hope for a better tomorrow
I am perfectly imperfect
