It's just a mumble
but then it changes
it turns to shouting
and then to booming

there are cracks of pain
and a silent throb
suddenly the clouds
begin to slowly sob

ripping the dark sky
into many sized pieces
over and over again
strangely it doesn't show

calming and slowing
cushioned and healing
nobody even knowing
the actual truth

The author's comments:
My family is fighting and is literally split in two right now with me stuck on the middle. I have so much drama and stress in my life right now on a scale of 1-10 my stress level is at a 1,000,000. I wrote this poem because you can't just keep everything bottled up inside you forever. It has to come out sometime and this is me writing about how I feel.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that, but I do agree with the others.... your poem is very very good. I love this poem because i can relate to how you felt/feel, and i could also "see" what you saw. I love reading peoms where I can connect myself to not only the poem but also the author. Great Job!!! :)

I'm sorry you go through this with your family, but great poem! "suddenly the clouds begin to slowly sob" these lines are filled with so much imagery. amazing poem!! if you get a chance check out some of my poems and comment please:)
