Love is a myth
Believed to be truth
But only for those blinded by youth
Passion and lust are all that exist
From every first touch to every first kiss
There is no innocence in this thing we call love
For it isn’t a gift from the stars above
It may be a curse
It must be a sham
But when you’re in love you just don’t give a damn
