I want to fly above your head and make you see me free
I want to scoop up times golden sands and freeze them eternally
Dance in circles around your bed
Sprinkle sand upon your head
Tuck you in and sing you to sleep
Pull you out of the oceans deep

Give you love and a pure heart
Rip your enemy's apart
Give you your every magical birthday flame back
Rewind you to relive the memories you lack
Comb your hair and hug you tight
Erase the dark give you only light

And then I'd like to wipe your tears
The one's I've shed for YOU every day, every year
Spin you close to a mirror
Make you see the monster in your eyes just a bit clearer
Pet you on your head, make this memory stay
And take everything good I gave up for you, away.

Wow! This poem is really creative! I realize that may sound like a false compliment, so I'll explain.  The imagery in every line is so masterful, and I love the way it brings the reader to a comfortable, nostalgic place before tearing that away. There's an emotional connection that forms in that moment of severence, which is exactually what you want to form with an audience. Bravo!
