Run tears like thick slush!
While lurking and suffocating feelings
Keeping innocence sleeping beneath
Hope of trust, forming a struggle between
Hands freed and emotions unsure.
Protecting cords loosening from
Her thawing heart, the
Useless words rendering mouths empty.
Empty mouths rendering words useless
The heart thawing her
From loosening cords protecting
Unsure emotions and freed hands.
Between struggle, a trust of hope
Beneath sleeping innocence, keeping
Feelings suffocating and lurking while
Slush, thick like tears run.
