A morning in spring
is a wonderful thing
As we wake from impenetrable bliss
the warm morning air greets us with a metaphorical kiss
As the sun begins to shine
The birds begin to whine
As I look out my dorm
The leaves begin to form
Taking on new life
Forgetful of last year's strife
As an effect of the sun
New life has begun
It is a wonderful thing
This is a morning in spring.
